Frankfurt- financial and logistics center of Germany- the most powerful economy in Europe. That’s only one of the faces of the city- polished and brilliant with its big airport, mighty corporations, stock exchange, skyscrapers and expensive cars around. The other face, anyhow, is not that pleasant- Frankfurt is one of the cities with most immigrants and homeless people in Germany, besides it’s considered as the most dangerous city there.
You’d say these are common features of a modern furiously growing city like London and New York. Well, I must admit- I got the point, it’s my point too.
From more practical perspective, I found the city an expensive place if you decide to go for a drink or lunch outside and at the same time quite acceptable at the store. It’s very well organized in terms of transport and traffic and even you could find open shops on Sunday, something I thought was impossible to happen in Germany… Long live immigrants!
